Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Despite the shortage of reviewers, we are committed to a timely review process to facilitate the rapid dissemination of lifestyle medicine advancements. All manuscripts submitted to The International Review of Lifestyle Medicine are subject to a double-blind peer review, and will be processed as follows:

1. Initial Screening: The Editorial Office performs a preliminary check for scope, plagiarism, and technical completeness.

2. Review Stage: Manuscripts are sent to subject-matter experts who evaluate the study design, data interpretation, and the integration of lifestyle medicine principles.

3. Decision Making: Authors will receive a formal decision:

Accept

Minor Revision

Major Revision

Reject.

In the case of revisions, the manuscript may be returned to the original reviewers for secondary evaluation.

4. Conflict of Interest: Reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest prior to accepting an assignment.
